God Is Searching Our Hearts

Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God. 22 And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.  1 John 3:21

Your prayers are only answered when you have a clear conscience, and are praying in His will. God can’t enter into fellowship with an unclean vessel. You must give up all that the Word, in conjunction with your conscience condemns. Any time you do not do this you will have unanswered prayer.

One big problem is that many Christians want power without purity, and happiness without holiness. When God puts His finger on unclean and unlawful things, some people shrink from the cost, and this makes it impossible for their prayers to be answered. Psalm 139:23 states: “Search me, O God, and know my heart; try me...” Ask the Lord to search you today.

The Deliverer

Psalm 91:5  You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day. 14 Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name.

The enemy’s mission in this world is to hurt or destroy you. Sometimes you feel surrounded on every side. You can be protected by God’s armor as seen in Ephesians 6:10-18, but the enemy will also try to attack you from behind.

It is now time to depend on the promises found in Isaiah.  Isaiah 52:12 For you shall not go out with haste, nor go by flight; for the Lord will go before you, and the God of Israel will be your rear guard.

Don’t let the enemy fool you, instead start applying Gods Word against him, and he will have to flee.

Kingdom Parenting

All your children shall be taught by the Lord, and great shall be the peace of your children. Isaiah 54:13

Frequently the more you witness to your children, the farther they seem to pull away from the Lord.  An idea is given in Luke 10:2, which tells you are to pray that the Lord of the harvest will send forth laborers into His harvest. God wants you to frequently ask Him to send others to your children.

Instead of pointing out the things they are doing wrong, compliment them on what they are doing right.  As their hearts start to soften, they will be more willing to accept what others tell them about Jesus.

Expect God to honor His Word by teaching them what they have missed because of the humanistic educational system and news media that is controlling much of the World.  Thank Him for the answers to come.
